Synthesis of waste cooking oil based biodiesel via ferric-manganese promoted molybdenum oxide / zirconia nanoparticle solid acid catalyst: influence of ferric and manganese dopants.
The utilization of ferric-manganese promoted molybdenum oxide/zirconia (Fe-Mn- MoO3/ZrO2) (FMMZ) solid acid catalyst for production of biodiesel was demonstrated. FMMZ is produced through impregnation reaction followed by calcination at 600°C for 3 h. The characterization of FMMZ had been done using X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), thermal gravimetric analysis (T...
متن کاملManganese oxide nanocomposite fabricated by a simple solid-state reaction and its ultraviolet photoresponse property.
We present a facile synthesis of manganese oxide (MnO(2)) nanocomposite with ultraviolet (UV) photosensitive characteristic by a solid-state reaction based on the reduction of potassium permanganate (KMnO(4)) by aniline, which provides a new family and more selectivity for UV photosensitive nanomaterials in the future.
متن کاملDirect growth of flower-like manganese oxide on reduced graphene oxide towards efficient oxygen reduction reaction.
Three-dimensional manganese oxide is directly grown on reduced graphene oxide (RGO) sheets, exhibiting comparable catalytic activity, higher selectivity and better stability towards oxygen reduction reaction than those of the commercial Pt/XC-72 catalyst.
متن کاملSynthesis and characterization of manganese oxide and cobalt oxide nano-structure
The preparation of nanostructure type manganese oxide and cobalt oxide materials with the smallest particle size is reported here. The nanorod manganese oxide and cobalt oxide nanotube were prepared via a sol-gel reaction in reverse micelles from KMnO4 and CoCl2 with respectively source at room-temperature. The structure and surface morphology of the obtained manganese oxide were studied by mea...
متن کاملStrong antiferromagnetic exchange between manganese phthalocyanine and ferromagnetic europium oxide.
We report on the antiferromagnetic exchange coupling between a submonolayer of Mn(II)-phthalocyanine molecules and a ferromagnetic Eu(II)-oxide thin film. The exchange energy is larger by nearly two orders of magnitude compared to previous studies involving oxidic substrates.
